How it looks in person: the brown outer is a warm, slightly reddish brown in daylight, with a lighter tan suede inside — the side-by-side photo shows both colors closest to real life.
Good to know: the outer is PU (vegan) leather, light rather than heavy, and built for travel. Like most new leather goods, it may have a faint new-material scent when first unboxed. It fades after a day out of the box.
